Linda Marijke sold The Linda Marijke was owned by the single-ship company CV svo Flinterriver. The buyers from Chile will use the vessel to transport fish feed to local fish farms. The Linda Marijke left Antwerp last Sunday. Because the buyers only have crews with local licenses, they have asked us to deliver the vessel to South-Chile, a journey of 45 days through the Panama Canal. The vessel was sold because her age (delivered in 1992) no longer fitted in the strategy of Flinter, which hinges on a relatively young fleet. The financial situation of the ship had deteriorated to such a degree that a financial recovery became more and more unlikely. Source: http://www.flinter.nl/index.php/en/news ... e-verkocht |
