She was built in 1965 by Scheepsbouwonderneming Groningen, Appingedam, yardnr. 177, as Roodevaart 2 for the inlandtrade.
Sold in 1973 as Trijntje she also was used for the Denmarktrade.



Spotted in the autumn of 1975.

Here the Nantila ( capt.owner Rinus Scherpenisse) seen in the German Bight in 1983 .The ship was originally meant to be named Nautila but somewhere during the registration process something went wrong so the name Nantila appeared and stayed.
