A short paragraph about yourself, what brought you here and how you found the site is great

Lets start with myself...
My name is Mark, 28 years young and since 1999 I'm photographing and collecting photos from Dutch general cargo ships and sea-riverships, with an expertise in shipping companies in the North-Netherlands. From my 18th I'm photographing at the shipyards in the North-Netherlands and the harbours of Delfzijl and Harlingen. In 2006 I left the provence Groningen and moved to the river Rhine area. Since that year I'm photographing the river-sea shipping in the Dutch-German border area. If you're interested in my photos, they can be found at MarkPrummel.nl. I am also administrator of the well known Dutch Kustvaartforum.com.

Since 2005 I'm photographing for Foto Persburo Schuurman (FPS) in Groningen and acted as nautical specialist for my colleagues. This cooperation between me and FPS has resulted to several publications in newspapers and maritme magazines.

Al meer dan 40 jaar verzamel ik de gegevens/vlootlijsten en foto's van de Nederlandse koopvaardij & kustvaart.

Daarnaast verzorg ik de 14-daagse rubriek "Coast to Coast" in weekblad Schuttevaer.

Sinds 21 december 2004 ook webbeheerder van KOOPVAARDIJ, een site die dagelijks gaat over de Nederlandse koopvaardij en kustvaart

Ga trachten de komende tijd ook op dit forum leuke bijdragen te verzorgen



For over 40 years, I collect data / fleet lists and photographs of the Dutch merchant marine & coastal.

In addition, I look after 14-day category "Coast to Coast" in weekly Schuttevaer.

Hi,

Ik ben Jaap de Waard, 56 jaar, woonachtig in Ridderkerk, en vandaag precies 40 jaar werkzaam in de scheepsbouw. Ruim 29 Jaar bij de YVC, 2.5 bij Oceanco en sinds 8 jaar bij TSD-Engineering. Dit is een klein tekenbureau in Hoogvliet. Ik verzamel letterlijk alles wat betrekking heeft op vrachtschepen tot ongerveer 15000 tdw. Ook correspondeer ik al 23 jaar met Chris Cheetham over mijn favorite schepen nl de Kruiplijncoasters. Leuk dat Mark er ook contact mee heeft.
